Nar-Anon Family Groups
A 12-Step Program for Family & Friends of Addicts
Outreach
The focus of outreach is to let families and friends of addicts know that help is available. This page offers strategies and tools to carry the message and increase awareness of Nar-Anon Family Groups.
Where To Start
Unity is an important principle in Nar-Anon, and it guides outreach. Check with your local service structure; Group Service Representative (GSR), Area Service Representative (ASR), or Regional Chair and volunteer to serve if there is an established outreach committee or coordinator. If there is no organized outreach effort, consider asking for support in starting an outreach committee.
Outreach Tools
