World Convention Committee

Duties and responsibilities: The World Service Convention Committee plans and hosts a Nar-­Anon world convention in cooperation with the NA world convention. The committee works closely with the hos city's area or regional service committee, where one exists, in preparing for a convention. It also works with WSO, which is the liaison between the NA and Nar-­Anon World Service Convention Committees. The committee recruits volunteers and speakers, plans the program schedule, hospitality, entertainment, marathon meetings and registration. The World Service Convention Committee designs a logo, based on the theme voted on at the WSC, for the convention flyers and merchandise.

Qualifications for membership: In addition to the general requirements for serving on a world service committee, members will have previously served on an event planning committee.
